The short version
You can use Stori to plan your work. What you put in stays yours, and you can take it with you or delete it whenever you like. We keep the lights on, charge you only what your plan says, and won’t do anything weird with your data. We’ve tried to write these terms like a human — if anything is unclear, just ask.
Your account
You need a valid email. One human per account; don’t share credentials. You’re responsible for keeping your account secure — if you think it was compromised, email us and we’ll help.
Your content
Work items, comments, attachments, queries — it stays yours.You grant us only the limited license we need to host your content and show it to the people you share it with. We don’t claim ownership, we don’t sell your data, and we will never use your content to train AI models.
Payments, refunds & plan changes
Paid plans are billed through Stripe; what you pay for is on the pricing page. You can cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing us — no questions asked. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your paid period; we don’t refund past periods unless the charge was our mistake, in which case we’ll make it right.
If we ever change our pricing, we’ll do our best to keep existing customers on the rate they signed up for.
Things you can’t do
Don’t use Stori to harm others, ship malware, break the law, spam people, scrape at volumes that degrade the service for everyone else, or probe our systems for vulnerabilities. Found a security issue? Tell us at the contact below — we appreciate it.
Leaving & termination
You can delete your account anytime from your account settings — that removes your data and the personal organization that comes with it (see the Privacy Policy for what happens to backups). We’ll only terminate an account for a clear breach of these terms or unpaid bills, and we’ll give notice and a chance to export where that’s reasonable.
Uptime, warranty & liability
Stori is a small operation, provided as-is. We aim for high uptime but don’t guarantee it outside an Enterprise SLA. Choosing to rely on Stori is, in part, a bet on a small team — we work hard to deserve it, but to the extent the law allows, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Changes to these terms
When we make a material change, we’ll update the date above, email registered users, and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) land without notice.
Your statutory rights & governing law
Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory rights you have as a consumer under applicable law. Stori is operated from Germany by the provider named in our Impressum; German law applies, without prejudice to the consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.
